sunday dinners
Every other Sunday we go to grandma and grandpa Carlsons house for a big family dinner. Roman loves spending time with them and this last Sunday was no different. We ate dinner, played with his cousins, watched home videos, and Rome & Grandpa worked out haha. We always have a good time when we go over there and Roman adores his Grandpa!

big boy!
Roman now sleeps (and stays all night) in his "big boy bed"!!! YAY!!! The first couple nights were tough and we dealt with a lot of screaming but now when I tell him it's bedtime he goes in his room and lays down all on his own. I'm so proud of him!

Forward roll
Roman can now do a forward roll on his own!!!!! I'm so proud of him! Lol I know that for most people this isn't such a huge deal but since I'm a former gymnast and a coach this is as big as him taking his first steps.

18 months old
Oh boy. Can you believe Roman is already 18 months old???! I'm still in shock. Well our sweet little boy is now 32 inches tall and weighs in at 22 pounds. He's climbing, sharing very well for his age, copying everything you say, and even putting simple sentences together. His favorite song to song is the itsy bitsy spider, grandma Dodge even taught him the actions that go with it. Needless to say he is well beyond the developmental milestones for his age.
On Halloween we were able to spend the day at home watching scary movies and carving pumpkins. Later that night we got Rome all dressed up in his costume and went to Jackies house where he went trick or treating, played with grandma and grandpa Carlson, and spent time with cousins. It was a very eventful day. Romans favorite part was definitely getting handfuls of candy from every house we went to. Our second Halloween was so much fun. Thanks you everyone who took part in it!
