Our goofy little boy

Roman is always laughing, playing, and being a goof. He loves making other people laugh and will do just about anything to make mom and dad smile. He is always the center of attention and loves the spotlight!

15 month check up

At Romans 15 month check up he weighed in at 20 pounds (4th percentile) and measured 32.5 inches long (70th percentile). tall and skinny just like his dad! They did a blood test to check for anemia and he had to get three shots. He was such a trooper the entire time and only whimpered for a second during his shots. While the doctor was listening to his heart she picked up a murmur.. It was expected since Chase has a hole in his heart and my family doesn't have the next track record with heart health.. But it was still a little unnerving. She tried explaining it was probably benign and we most likely have nothing to worry about but if she can still hear it at his 18 month check up then we will go to a heart specialist and run some tests.
Other than that Roman is perfectly healthy. He is running around, getting into trouble, and copying everything you say. He can show you where his nose, belly, and mouth are. He knows a few animal noises but for the most part everything just says "ssssssss" like his pet snake. He is very good at sharing with others and when he feels like it he will even say please and thank you. Rome can use full sentences but he is a little hard to understand lol. He loves to play hide and go seek and is always excited when we leave the house.
Watching him learn and grow is the best experience we could have asked for. Chase and I are blessed to have such a sweet little boy. We love you Roman!

We were so busy today it was ridiculous. Roman was so hot and bored we decided to take him to lunch for being so good.

Summer time

So far this summer we have had a blast! We are constantly taking Roman to the park, going out to get ice cream, and going hiking. Roman loves being outside and going to new places. He also loves spending so much time with momma, dad, and uncle Bradley.
Roman is now 15 months old! Can you believe it?? He's running around and talking like crazy, and has started to put sentences together. He copies pretty much anything you say..which can sometimes be a bad thing lol. He loves to color (not always on paper -_-) and LOVES to dance. Whenever he sees a ball laying around he'll pick it up and play catch with you or kick it around. Rome is a very smart and active little boy. He's given us a run for our money lol and we are very lucky to have him <3

Roman loves hanging out with dad and whatever he does Roman has to do it too. So when Chase decided to replace a part on his truck Roman had to help him. It was adorable watching him use his little wrench and hand dad tools lol. What a stud

Hair cut!

Today Roman took a trip to bonny for a much needed hair cut. He sat right on grandmas lap the whole time and for the most part held pretty still.

Just another sunday

Now that Roman is walking he is into everything!! Today we took a trip to toys r us to buy some much needed baby gates. While we were there Roman spotted a giant sucker and of course Chase caved and bought it for him lol.  (Chase buys him pretty much whatever he wants haha) seeing Romans huge grin was worth all the mess though!
A few hours later Chase had to go to work. Roman was heart broken. He stood by the door stared out the window and cried for his dadda. It was the sweetest thing ever. Roman ADORES Chase <3
