Happy birthday daddy!!!!

Today chase turned 21! Roman and I spent all day shopping and getting everything ready for when dad got home from work. Once he arrived We handcuffed him, wrapped him in happy birthday streamers and drove him to dinner where his 3 best friends we're waiting for us. He was a good sport about being kidnapped and we all had a blast. we love you chase!! Hope you've had a great birthday xoxo

Croup

My poor little boy has croup. We took him into the hospital Sunday night after we noticed he was having a hard time breathing. He had to get a steroid shot in his leg and we we're told do everything possible to keep him happy. (when he gets upset his air way swells up) the last few says have been rough.  keep your fingers crossed that he gets better soon.

Church

Roman got all dressed up to go to church with grandma.

Hand eye coordination

Today for dinner i cut up Romans food into cubes and put them in an ice cube tray. Roman thought this was the greatest thing ever and could not get enough.

Grim

Roman LOVES our snake grim. Whenever dad takes him out of his cage Rome goes nuts. So last night before story time dad pulled him out and Rome was able to hold him for the first time. He was one happy boy after that.

Romans bike

Roman , mom , and dad played outside for a few hours today. Rome jumped on the trampoline, played on the swimwear, and ride his bike! What a fun day!!

Helping dad

Yesterday Roman spent a good part of his day outside playing with mom and helping dad out. He LOVES to be outside so we had to take advantage of the warm weather.

PARTY!

Now I know I'm a month late posting these pictures but life has been super busy for all 3 of us. Chase is now working full time, I have a part time job and Roman has been busy learning to walk and talk!
Anyway Romans birthday party was so much fun! We were very lucky to have all the family & most of our friends there. Roman sure did enjoy himself. He loved opening all the presents, playing with the other kids, and eating.

Rome was spoiled at his party. 

But he enjoyed opening all the presents and playing with his new toys!

we had a small family party.

He opened his presents from mom, dad, and grandma

and got to eat some cake.

He wasn't really sure about his "smash cake" at first but once he 

realized it was ok to make a mess he dug right in

   Chase and I are truly blessed to have such an amazing little boy. Thank you to every one who celebrated his birthday with us. He is lucky to have such good friends and family. We love you guys xoxo

Summer time

Roman loves playing on the monkey bars!

1 year old

Roman is officially a toddler! How sad. Sometimes I wish he could just stay little forever but waqtching him learn and grow has been so much fun. My sweet little man can now say "I love you", blow kisses, wave bye, and take about 3 steps on his own. He is still wearing some 6-9 month clothes and all of his 12 month clothing drowns him lol. He is fearless and trys to climb anything and everything. He has even figured out that he can push one object over to the couch, entertainment center, beds, or cupboards and climb up them. He is very sneaky and very creative haha.
On his birthday we took him to get his pictures taken. They turned out ADORABLE! He was not happy to be there at first but as soon as he warmed up to the photographer he was all smiles.

Now that he is 1 Roman can now sit in a big boy carseat!! He was sooo happy to switch over. Noq he can see everything as we drive around.
