PARTY!

Now I know I'm a month late posting these pictures but life has been super busy for all 3 of us. Chase is now working full time, I have a part time job and Roman has been busy learning to walk and talk!
Anyway Romans birthday party was so much fun! We were very lucky to have all the family & most of our friends there. Roman sure did enjoy himself. He loved opening all the presents, playing with the other kids, and eating.

Rome was spoiled at his party. 

But he enjoyed opening all the presents and playing with his new toys!

He wasn't really sure about his "smash cake" at first but once he 

realized it was ok to make a mess he dug right in

   Chase and I are truly blessed to have such an amazing little boy. Thank you to every one who celebrated his birthday with us. He is lucky to have such good friends and family. We love you guys xoxo

Summer time

1 year old

Roman is officially a toddler! How sad. Sometimes I wish he could just stay little forever but waqtching him learn and grow has been so much fun. My sweet little man can now say "I love you", blow kisses, wave bye, and take about 3 steps on his own. He is still wearing some 6-9 month clothes and all of his 12 month clothing drowns him lol. He is fearless and trys to climb anything and everything. He has even figured out that he can push one object over to the couch, entertainment center, beds, or cupboards and climb up them. He is very sneaky and very creative haha.
On his birthday we took him to get his pictures taken. They turned out ADORABLE! He was not happy to be there at first but as soon as he warmed up to the photographer he was all smiles.

Now that he is 1 Roman can now sit in a big boy carseat!! He was sooo happy to switch over. Noq he can see everything as we drive around.

Easter!!

Romans second Easter was a blast! He went on an egg hunt,, saw the Easter bunny,, and got a TON of presents in his basket. I think the Easter bunny has a shopping problem because Roman was spoiled rotten this year haha.

On Chases days off we always try to get out of the house and play. This last week we took Roman to Murray Park to feed the ducks and swing. He loved it! There weren't very many ducks to feed but he had a fun time throwing them the bread and eating some himself lol.

11 months old

Our sweet little boy is 11 months old!! He can almost walk, he says momma, dada, and baba. Rome has pretty good aim with a ball ( He likes to throw it at moms head lol) and he is trouble. Anything that he isn't supposed to play with he does. He LOVES tormenting our dog and teasing his grandma Leslie. He also loves listening to music and dancing with dad. His favorite foods are bananas and buttered noodles. Playing with dad is one of his favorite things to do but when its time to relax he only wants mom. Everyday Chase and I realize how lucky we are to have such an amazing little boy.

Romans first tooth finally came in today! Wahoo! It's about time. They have been popping in and out for months now. I'm so excited to finally start giving him solid foods haha.



Last night Roman had fun doing another sensory activity. I made edible finger paint and let him make a giant mess.

10 months old

At ten months old Roman is one wild little boy. He never holds still for longer than 2 minutes and is always getting into trouble. He is constantly jabbering and having "conversations" with anyone who will talk back to him. He isn't walking on his own yet but he's very close. Rome loves playing with his daddy but he's still a mommas boy ;-). Chase and I are so lucky to have such a handsome little guy in our lives.

Play time

Last night we decided to try a new activity called "sensory play". The point of this was to let Roman experience new textures and to encourage the development of his motor skills and creativity. We first started by pouring some dry infant cereal in front of him We would add a little bit of water at a time so he could see and feel the changes in the cereal as it went from light and dry to thick and wet. At first he wasn't sure about touching it and getting dirty but after a few minutes he dove right in and had a blast making a huge mess.
