First Halloween

Monday was Romans first Halloween! We spent the day with Chases grandparents. Rome just adores them. He doesn't usually do very well with people he doesn't see on a regular basis but he was all smiles and just couldn't get enough of them! Later that night we got him all dressed up and headed to Chases work so he could show off our little man lol. Right after that we drove over to my Dads house and spent some time with them. It was a very busy day but it was worth it!

6 months old!!!!!

Roman is now 6 months old! He's not my little new born any more.. tear..
Everyday he is more and more fun to play with though. Watching him sit up and play with toys is the cutest thing in the world. He's starting to jabber and make his own words. He can say "momma" and "mine" pretty well though haha. (Even though he doesn't know what they mean it sooooo cute.) He has started to develop some separation anxiety too and won't let anyone besides his mommy hold him. It's hard but I gotta say I love knowing that he only wants me! haha.

On the weekends we have been able to spend a lot of time with both set of his grandparents. He loves his grandma Leslie and he can't get enough of his grandma Sylvia and Grandpa Todd as long as he can see me. He also loves playing with his aunts, uncles (especially Riley!)  and all of his cousins. It means a lot to me knowing that he is going to have a good relationship with them!

We took Roman to his 6 month check up last Monday.. He was 15 lbs 9 oz and 28 inches long!!! His weight is in the 12 percentile and his length is in the 78 percentile. The doctor said everything looks good and that he his very healthy.

Roman is VERY loved.

Red Butte Gardens

We took a trip to Red Butee Gardens today with Grandma Leslie! Roman had tons of fun playing with the ducks and walking around.

Pumpkin Carving!

Last night Chase and I carved Romans first pumpkin! It took forever but it turned out really good!

October

A lot has been going on lately! Chase had his first MMA fight, I turned 20, Grandma Leslie has had to do radiation therapy for her thyroid, We through a surprise party for Grandma Sylvia, and now we are in the middle of scheduling 2 different sets of family pictures. Things have been a little crazy!
Roman will be 6 months old in a couple weeks! He is getting so big its crazy!!!!!!! We have started giving him veggies before he goes to bed at night and he LOVES them. Sweet carrots are his favorite. His bottom teeth still haven't popped through so he has been grumpy the past few weeks. hopefully they hurry up. I want my happy baby back!!!   Here are some pics we have taken over the past few weeks...

Saturday the 8th is when we threw a surprise party for Sylvia.

Roman recently had his first bowl of rice cereal! He did such a good job eating and he just couldn't get enough of it. It was so much fun seeing how interested he was in his food. He ended up eating 2 bowls of it before we cut him off!
