Dinner time!

Roman recently had his first bowl of rice cereal! He did such a good job eating and he just couldn't get enough of it. It was so much fun seeing how interested he was in his food. He ended up eating 2 bowls of it before we cut him off!

Poor little guy was starving!

Chase held him while I fed him..

He ended up getting it on all 3 of us lol

While I made him another bowl

 he started eating what was left on his hands

After his second bowl was ready he couldn't wait to eat more!

After dinner we gave him a bath to wash off all the cereal.

Vegas Baby

Roman took his first trip to Vegas! He had a blast seeing all the lights and people. Plus he got to spend some time with his grandparents. We had so much fun out there!

He slept most of the way out there.

19 years old

Being a young mommy means we met a little early, but I get to love you longer. Some people say my life ended when I had a baby, but my life has just begun. You gave me the motivation I needed to get on the right track. You didn't take my future away, you gave me a new one....
 I love you Roman.

A trip to Grandma and Grandpas house

Sunday we went over to see Grandma Sylvia and Grandpa Todd! Roman was very happy to see everyone. He was jumping, smiling, laughing, and growling the entire time we were there lol.

4 months!

Roman is now 4 months old as of yesterday! He weighs 13 pounds and is 24 inches long. He is so much fun to play with now. He loves to dance, he is always laughing and smiling, he flirts with girls every where we go, and he talks to you. It's is the cutest thing in the world lol. Chase and I have had a blast with him.

Thursday we had his physical therapy appointment for his neck. Chase had to work so I had to go alone... what a pain in the butt! I was trying to fill out paper work and the entire time Roman was jumping up and down on my lap. He is a hard baby to hold because he is constantly moving! But after I finally got that taken care of we went back into the room and his P.T. took measurements of his head and flexibility, stretched a few muscles, and decided everything was perfectly fine! We just have to try to keep him off the right side of his head as much as possible so it rounds out a bit. She gave me a few exercises to do with him to help strengthen his neck and asked us to come back next week to make sure everything still looks good.

8 hours later Roman was born!

this is the first time I got to hold him. best moment of my life.

The nurses cleaned him up and after NICU checked out his lungs

I got to cuddle with him on my chest for an hour before heading to our room.

chase got to spend a lot of time with him while we were at the hospital.

he only left the room to go get food

once we got home we gave rome his first bath.

he wasnt very happy about it lol



Looking at these pictures makes me realize how fast this last year has flown by. A lot has happened and it has been very difficult.. But thanks to Chase, his parents Ronda and Dave, Sylvia, my dad, my mom, and Pat we made it! Love you guys and there is no way I could have done it without your love and support.
